Since I think that this item is only available from one manufacturer, it is hard to discuss its merits versus someone else's so the review pretty much boils down to the company selling it. I am located in Canada and many sellers will not ordinarily sell to anyone outside the USA. Pool 'N Spa Store happily was one of the exceptions. The web site is very easy to navigate, items are displayed and described very well, and the prices are unbeatable. In Canada, for some reason, this part would have cost me nearly $300 -- I paid about 20% of that at the Pool N Spa Store , with free shipping to Port Huron , Michigan , where I picked it up. I also got a compression gasket for this part but again, I think that the same manufacturer makes them. I have been searching their web site and will certainly be looking for swimming pool supplies there in he future.
